On January 9 at 6:00pm, get up close and personal with Artistic Director Pablo Mielgo on piano and acclaimed violinist Francisco Fullana in an intimate recital at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts’ Mary Porter Ballroom.
Spanish-born violinist Francisco Fullana, winner of the 2018 Avery Fisher Career Grant and the 2014 Johannes Brahms International Violin Competition, has been hailed as an “amazing talent” (Gustavo Dudamel) and “frighteningly awesome” (Buffalo News). He has appeared in recital at Carnegie Hall and as a soloist and chamber musician with numerous American orchestras and festivals. His latest album on Orchid Classics, Bach’s Long Shadow, was named BBC Music Magazine’s Instrumental Choice of the Month. Its five star review proclaimed, “Fullana manages to combine Itzhak Perlman’s warmth with the aristocratic poise of Henryk Szeryng.”
Champagne and light bites are included for all guests.
