THE VALUE OF VOLUNTEERISM
Volunteerism is an integral part of Symphony of the Americas and assists us in activating the thousands of residents in our tricounty area to embrace the Arts as part of their annual routines. As you well know, we could not exist without the time, effort, enthusiasm and expertise that each volunteer commits to giving. We recognize the valuable roles volunteers play and are committed to providing requisite training and ongoing support to every volunteer.
Volunteer Duties
Volunteers assist in so many capacities! Whether it’s in the administrative offices or on the phone soliciting donors for auction items, participants for special events or out in the community sharing the value of the Symphony’s brand… All ways are needed!
If you are unable to volunteer in person, please consider adding your name to a call list to help the Symphony staff solicit donations or by making a monetary donation today!

Volunteering with the Symphony
HELPFUL ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Helping with mailings and other administrative projects
- Staffing events as co-chairs, committee members, greeters, information guides, set-up & break-down crew
- Assisting with the RSVP list for pre and post concert receptions
- Connecting the Symphony with local schools
- Serving as a concert ‘face’, sharing Symphony information
