Description: Celebrate Piazzolla, the master of Argentina’s greatest gift to the world… Tango! He revolutionized the sound of tango, fusing elements of classical and jazz with his bandoneon and symphonic sounds to create nuevo tango.
Guest Artist Juan Pablo Jofre, native of San Juan, Argentina, is an award-winning bandoneon player and composer. He has been repeatedly highlighted by the New York Times and praised as one of today’s leading artists by Great Performers at Lincoln Center.
