About the Concert
Join Scott Flavin and The Symphony as they highlight American composers who have created new perspectives, from top composer Gabriela Lena Frank to the innovative “American sound” of Copland and Gershwin, and the influential music of Korngold. International Violin Competition prizewinner Hina Khuong-Huu debuts, whose violin “voice” is taking the world by storm.
