Broward Center for the Performing Arts – Amaturo Theater
Considered one of the greatest symphonies of the 20th Century, Shostakovich’s Leningrad is a supreme human achievement. The Leningrad Symphony No. 7 is a monumental portrayal of the human spirit’s resilience amidst the brutality of war, particularly reflecting the Siege of Leningrad during World War II.
A Side by Side music engagement program performance
Led by Artistic Director Pablo Mielgo and Concertmaster Scott Flavin, this program offers young musicians a unique blend of formal instruction and hands-on symphonic performance. Students will be paired with Symphony members, rehearsing and performing alongside them, gaining invaluable exposure to professional orchestral music.
