About the Concert
Join Scott Flavin and The Symphony as they highlight American composers who have created new perspectives, from top composer Gabriela Lena Frank to the innovative “American sound” of Copland and Bernstein, and the influential music of Korngold. Elmar Oliveira International Violin Competition (EOIVC 2023) prizewinner Hina Khuong-Huu debuts, whose violin “voice” is taking the world by storm.
